These should measure about 5 inches. Make 7 of these before the 1st of next month. Gauge is 4sts=1″

CH – chain

SL ST – slip stitch

DC – double crochet

SP – space

SK – skip stitch

REP – repeat

Ch 19

 

Row 1

1 dc into the 4th ch from your hook. Ch 1, sk 1 ch st and work 1 dc into next ch (first V-Stitch created). Ch 1, work 1 dc into the same ch. *Sk 2 ch, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch.* Repeat until you have 4ch left. Ch 1, sk 2 chs, 1 dc in each of the last 2 chs in row. Ch 3.

 

Row 2

Turn (ch 3 counts for first dc in row), 1 dc into the next st. Ch 1, work V-stitch into each ch 1 sp across row until you have 1 ch sp and 2 sts left. Ch 1 and sk ch 1 sp. 1dc into each of the last 2 sts. Ch 3.

Rows 3-8

Repeat row 2

 

 

Finishing

Ch 1, sc around, making sure to do 3 sc in each corner. Sl st to join, fasten off and weave in ends.
